Artist's Description
The North Santiam River is a 92-mile tributary of the Santiam River in western Oregon in the United States. It drains 766 square miles of the Cascade Range on the eastern side of the Willamette Valley east of Salem.
Close to both Portland and Salem, the North Santiam River offers plenty of beginner rapids, consistent water flows and some of the finest steelhead fishing in Oregon.
The river has become one of my favorite places to capture early fall color.
